Antigua Guatemala
Antigua Guatemala is a World Heritage Site, declared by UNESCO since 1979; http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/65; has a beautiful architecture dating from the Spanish colonial era, is located in the beautiful Panchoy Valley, surrounded by three majestic volcanoes. Its stone streets, the facades of its houses and churches, its climate, make it unique in the world. Antigua is probably the most visited place in Guatemala.

You will visit the Central Plaza, the Palace of the General Captains, the Cathedral, the Arch Street, the Church and Convent of La Merced, if open: The Company of Jesus, the Handicrafts Market in front of the Ruins of El Carmen and a Jade and silver factory.
